Free innocent Smoothie Hat Pattern!

11th September 2013

You may have already seen the teeny tiny knitted hats on the tops of some innocent Smoothie bottles. These aren't just super cute, they are also for a great cause. For each hatted smoothie sold, innocent will donate 25p to Age UK! You can help by knitting more weeny toppers and sending them to innocent.

To get you started, we've got this fabulous FREE pattern from Juliet Bernard for a sweet Fuchsia flower hat. Find more of Juliet's designs at

You can also find more innocent hat patterns at and head over to for more information about what innocent are doing and where to send your hats.

Making up

On the main part of the flower sew up the side seam. Fold up the bottom edge of the flower and stitch to the inside at regular intervals to create the picot edging. Sew up the edge of the top of the flower and slide it over to green stalk, stitch in place.

I have done this flower in pink but you can try any colour combination. Have fun and experiment.
