Free pattern child's cardigan

Free pattern: child's reversible cardigan

You'll love this free pattern for a child's reversible cardigan - it's knitted top-down in one piece.

22nd October 2015

If you’ve never tried double knitting, a child’s project is a good place to start. This little cardigan by Rosee Woodland is completely reversible, and is knitted from the top down in one piece; after the raglan increases in the garter stitch yoke section, the sleeve stitches are placed on waste yarn, and body is worked in double knitted stocking stitch in the charted bubble pattern. The sleeves are knitted on at the end with the same patterning. Rosee has used Lang Golf in two bright shades; this is a mercerised cotton which should be blocked gently as it will grow a bit in this process. And you can download the pattern for free.
