Mark the date on your calendar – this year's Wonderwool Wales will be held at the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells on 27 and 28 April! Tickets are now available at £10 for a day ticket and £18 for the weekend.
First held in 2006 to promote Welsh wool, Wonderwool has grown each year to become a must-visit festival celebrating all things crafty. From sheep to fibre to finished item, you'll find all stages of the creative process represented. As well as knitting and crochet goodies, the show also features designer clothes, home furnishings and beautiful textile arts and crafts.
One exhibitor not to be missed is the recipient of the show's 2019 bursary, Welsh textile artist Helen Evans. The Carmarthen School of Art gradutate's beautiful, award-winning woven cushions are inspired by the distinctive charm of harbour town Aberaeron, with its pretty pastel-coloured houses and Regency architecture. You can see her work on Stand C1 in Hall 1.
