Free pattern: sparkly Jamboree socks

16th July 2016

Kirstie McLeod’s sparkly socks are the perfect match for your favourite party shoes. These fantastic socks have it all: colourful stripes, faux Fair Isle patterning, a pretty textured stitch design, and even a hint of sparkle!

Knitted in Opal’s Happy superwash wool and polyamide blend, this fun yarn is self-patterning, so you can focus on the stitches. The riot of colours in this yarn means it looks fantastic on mismatched socks, but if you want to make two identical socks it’s easy to do – just start your first sock at the beginning of a specific colour change, and make sure you do the same for the second.

We’ve also included a walkthrough to help you with Kitchener stitch to graft the toe seams together.
