Mary Henderson has chosen an exquisite palette of colours for her Islay tank top. As in the traditional Fair Isle method of construction, the top is knitted in one piece in the round, with steeks inserted for the arm and neck openings. The steeks are then cut open and reinforced with crochet, and the edgings finished with multi-coloured ribbing.
