Knit Your Own Nativity magazine

Knit your own nativity - your downloadable stable and corrections

19th October 2017

The Knit Your Own Nativity special magazine is on sale now, so you can knit a traditional Nativity scene. Inside your magazine you'll get the yarn and needles to knit Mary, Joseph and Jesus, plus the patterns for the angel, three kings and shepherds. You can also follow the patterns to make the sheep, donkey and a star.

In total you'll receive 13 balls of yarn, two knitting needles and a 16-page magazine with all your patterns.

We've also created a downloadable pattern for a stable to go with the nativity scene, which you can print out. Click the link below.

It’s best if you can print directly onto sheets of card, although you could always print onto paper and then stick the paper onto card if you prefer. It’s also important that you set your printer to print at ‘Actual size’ or ‘100%’.

Each sheet of the template is labelled from A to I, and the instructions refer to these letters to make things nice and easy!

  • Sheets of card that will fit in your printer
  • Pencil

  • Craft knife
  • Cutting mat
  • Metal ruler
  • Glue or double-sided sticky tape
