To knit the Eyelet Carpet pattern, just follow this stitch pattern to the desired length:
Cast on a multiple of 8 sts.
Row 1 (WS) Purl.
Row 2 (RS) *Sl2 to cn and hold in back; K2, then K2 from cn; sl2 to cn and hold in front; K2, then K2 from cn.
Row 3 Purl.
Row 4 Knit.
Row 5 Purl.
Row 6 Sl2 to cn and hold in front; K2, then K2 from cn; sl2 to cn and hold in back; K2, then K2 from cn.
Row 7 Purl.
Row 8 Knit.
Rep rows 1–8 to form pattern.
