If you're planning your knitty activities for the coming months, the Edinburgh Yarn Festival is a must-visit. Taking place in the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on 10th-11th March 2017, the show expects over 5000 visitors from around the world.
You can shop for luxury yarns and tools with around 100 retailers, including Brooklyn Tweed's first ever visit to a European yarn show. And you can learn something new in the workshops – there are 60 sessions to choose from, covering altering patterns, crochet popcorn and puff stitches, reversible cables and much more. But hurry, some classes are already sold out!
As well as knitting, you can also enjoy crochet, weaving and spinning. And it's a great opportunity to socialise with other crafters, with the Big Knit-Night on the Thursday, the Friday evening party, and a series of events in the Podcast Lounge.
